I've started to get lots of Spam. How can I stop it? Top
We're sorry to say that you probably can't stop Spam. As your email address becomes more available on the Internet via signups and sharing Spam is an unfortunate reality of the Web.
You can put up a good fight however by turning on Spam Assassin. This will require an Admin access to your server account. After logging in, click on "Spam Assassin" in the "Mail" section of your options. Click "Enable SpamAssassin" to get it started. You can adjust the sensitivity of the filter too! At the bottom of the page click "Configure SpamAssassin" to adjust the score, whitelist or blacklist sources or domains.
SpamAssassin does not automatically delete Span however. It will append ***SPAM*** to the subject line of any email it suspects is Spam. That makes it very easy for Outlook or Thunderbird to filter them out.
After you make these adjustments pay close attention for a while to see how well its working. You can always go back and adjust more or less sensitivity based on results. You can also enable "Auto-Delete Spam" when you're sure the settings work for you!

What's an email Forwarder and when should I use one? Top
An email Forwarder an email address that doesn't actually have it own email box. but directs mail to an actual email box. For instance, info@domainame.com could direct all its mail to charlie@gmail.com. All email for both info@domain.com and charlie@gmail.com would show up in charlie@gmail.com's mailbox.
Why would you want this? This works well for anonymous email addresses such as support@, sales@, or info@. Addresses that may be directed to different people at different times. Or perhaps sales inquiries could be directed to the entire sales team.
All very simple with Forwarders.
To setup a Forwarder, login to your cpanel account (requires Admin access) and go to the 'Mail' section. Select 'Forwarders' then 'Add Forwarder'. Setup the address you 'd like to forward and destination address to be forwarded to.
That's it!
How much disk space do I have and how do I check it? Top
You web hosting account comes with a pre-set capacity you should be aware of. When your server fills up with content it can reach its capacity to handle new activity and begin to act a little strange (rejecting mail, web pages not showing properly, inability to upload new website content, etc).
You can check your available space by logging into your cpanel (requires admin access) and looking at the stats in the left window. You can also see your bandwidth usage there as well.
If you want to locate the specific items taking up the most space go to the Files section and select 'Disk Space Usage'. You may use the controls here to determine which files or file types are using the most space.
Usually the culprit is email. Using Outlook or Thunderbird and selecting "Removing copies of email from the server after reading" is sure to keep your usage out of the 'red'.

I lost my email password. Can you retrieve it for me? Top
Sorry, email passwords are encrypted on the server. We cannot retrieve your email password for you. The best we can do is to reset your password. Be aware, however, that resetting your password will require you to re-enter your password in every pad, computer and smart phone that you use to accesses your email. Try hard to guess it first and reset it only as a last resort.
You can reset passwords yourself if you have Admin access.
How do I check my email? Top
You may check your email by going to www.YourDomainName.com/webmail and, when prompted, enter your FULL EMAIL ADDRESS and password, or you may setup Outlook or Thunderbird.
If you access your email from multiple computers often, webmail works well. After logging in select your preferred Mailreader. Any should work fine however we prefer 'RoundCube'. Whichever you select its best to be consistent going forward.
If you tend to use the same computer(s) to access your mail then Outlook Express or Thunderbird (both are free!) will work best for handling your email. Here is how you set up your mail client.
Help! I'm not getting mail! Top
Before you blame your webserver that its not receiving mail for you try a couple of things:
1. Check if you have internet connectivity. Open a browser and try to go to any webpage. If none opens then you're not connected to the internet and your problem is not email.
2. Check on another computer or device. If the other computer or device is receiving email then the problem may be your computer.
3. If you're using Outlook or Thunderbird try Webmail. If you can login properly and see your email your problem is probably your computer having difficulty connecting to email and not the email itself.
4. Check if your email account has run out of space. Contact your system administrator and have them login to your cpanel account to determine how much space you have to work with.
These four tests usually handle 95% of all email issues. If you're still having problems open a ticket and let us know. We're happy to help.
